This Year by the means of the Right Hon Thomas Earl of Exeter, the Charter was renewed and divers new grants from the Kings Majesty to the Corporation were obtained. Also at the suit of Sir Robert Wingfield Knt. One of the Comburgesses of this Corporation , it is pleased the King’s Majesty to pardon two Fifteenths, amounting to the sum of 84l 8s 4d due by Stamford and St Martins
