[27] Notes From Derrick:

After Jane was widowed

She had the following children:

i. An Infant, unnamed. Born in 1851 who died in 1851.

1851 census Jane was in the Bedford Workhouse with her infant son(age 0) born Bedford workhouse, together with her son John age 11, andLettita age 6, both born Stagsden

10 ii. Thomas (~1852-)

iii. Betsy. Born in 1856. Betsy died in 1856.

On 25 Aug 1861 when Jane was 42, she married James Breed. Born about1814 in Kempston. I understand that there may have been a child.Prior to this marriage Jane was a living-in housekeeper for James whowas widowed. His wife had been ill for a long time and it is thoughtthat Jane was the housekeeper from after Lewis had died.
